Immediate correction of "divine revelation"

There was revealed: 'Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and those who strive and fight in the Cause of Allah.' (4.95)

Here a verse is revealed to Muhamad. It is speaking badly of those lousy Muslims who are not going to war and putting their lives in danger for Muhammad. How convenient.

Then, while Muhamad is getting his scribe to write this newly "revealed" verse, there one blind man has his feelings hurt, and he asks the "messenger of God":

"O Allah's Apostle! What is your order For me (as regards the above Verse) as I am a blind man?"

Thereupon God thinks again, and decides to change his "revelation":

So, instead of the above Verse, the following Verse was revealed:

'Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame etc.) and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah.' (4.95)
